The tenth annual Royal Medieval Faire took place on Saturday September 15th, 2007 in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Over 5,500 patrons were in attendance to participate with the 150 actors, performers and volunteers to produce a spectacular event.

What began as a dream in July of 1997, is now an exciting reality. Hundreds of volunteers get involved every year to create a magical, medieval day in 21st century Waterloo. If you want to sew, build, act, or do something else we haven't thought of, contact us and get medieval!

Now in its eleventh season, the faire is an interactive day consisting of vendors, hands-on displays, food & beverages, games, celtic music, magic, swordplay, ceili (old-fashion Irish dance), authentic costumes & decorations, plus much more.

This year, the Royal Medieval Faire will take place on Saturday, September 20th, 2008 from 11am - 6pm in Waterloo Park West. Admission is $5.00 per person, $2.50 for children 10 & under. This event is suitable for all ages and has something to offer everyone. The admission covers everything in the park except vendor merchandise, food and beverages. It is a great day for the entire family and those interested in history and the arts.
