Volunteer registration and training in Waterloo ParkYou are invited to attend the volunteer training on Sunday, August 27th 2008 from 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. and September 14th, 2008 from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. in Waterloo Park West (enter off of Westmount between University and Father David Bauer Drive) The objective of the volunteer training is for us to provide more hands-on simulation/training for the volunteers e.g. cash handling, usage of walkie talkies, the kinds of questions one will likely encounter at the Info booth, how to operate some of the more challenging games, etc. Any volunteers who were unable to make it to the Aug 27nd orientation, can register with Janice Riggs on Sept. 14th. Volunteering at the Royal Medieval Faire is a quick and fun way to earn highschool manditory volunteer hours. Sign yourself and your friend up and get your hours done early! email Volunteers@royalmedievalfaire.org for more information. | ||||||
