Twenty-five seasons in beautiful Southern Ontario

The faire is an interactive day consisting of vendors, hands-on displays, food & beverages, games, celtic music, magic, swordplay, ceili (old-fashion Irish dance), authentic costumes & decorations, plus much more.

The Royal Medieval Faire is one of the premier and longest running medieval festivals in Canada.

Every 3rd Saturday in September, many volunteers and organizers come together to create a magical, medieval day in 21st century Waterloo, Ontario. Over 5,000 patrons attend each year to participate with 150 actors, performers and volunteers to produce a spectacular family event.

The 25th Royal Medieval Faire will be held in-person on Saturday, September 17, 2022 if Covid-19 health guidelines and other logistical and safety considerations allow it. Check out our website or facebook page for details.

The Royal Medieval Faire brings the magical Kingdom of Mearth alive in Waterloo Park! The epic fun filled-day for the whole family includes storytelling, swordplay, games, vendors, music, dancing, food & beverages, costumes & decorations, plus much more.

Price:

General admission: $10.00 (ages 14 and up); Children: $5.00 (ages 13 and under); Family admission: $20 (up to 4 people, maximum 2 general admission); Babes in arms free; Disability Assistants free.

Covid-19:

The Royal Medieval faire will be held in-person in Waterloo Park if Covid-19 health guidelines and other logistical and safety considerations allow it

This event is suitable for all ages and has something to offer everyone. It is a great day for the entire family and those interested in history and the arts.
